Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Service Technician II - Solar BESS- Traveler to assist senior Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities. This role includes preventative and corrective maintenance of on-site assets such as solar panels, trackers, and power inverters.

The position requires following safety protocols, troubleshooting high and low voltage systems, and extensive travel (76-100%).

Qualifications

• High school/GED General Education required.
• Associate degree related technical preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification preferred.
• 3+ years related maintenance experience required.
• Basic knowledge of high/low voltage power systems, drawings and circuit theory.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel 76-100%.

Responsibilities

• Takes direction from senior site personnel.
• Troubleshoots low voltage DC power systems.
• Troubleshoots low voltage and medium voltage AC power systems.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on AC and DC power systems.
• Interfaces with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Represents RES in a professional manner.
