Job summary

IGT is seeking a field-service technician in the United States to transport, install when required, and maintain gaming equipment at retailer locations. The role includes driver training, reporting, and ensuring continuous operation of devices in the field.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in customer service, 1–2 years in technical repairs, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service related position.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical repairs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record and demonstrate the ability to correctly perceive colors.
• Physical requirements: climb a ladder, lift and carry equipment up to fifty pounds for significant distances and work in varying conditions.
• Pre-employment background checks, drug tests, and other disclosures may be required by customers/regulators.

Responsibilities

• Transport, install (if applicable), and maintain IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized manner.
• Attend driver training and follow vehicle policy for the company vehicle.
• Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation of IGT equipment.
• Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment in the field; replace components and perform minor adjustments as needed.
• Communicate with Dispatchers; report activity, times, problems, and resolutions.
