Job summary

IGT is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support gaming and paytech equipment across the Vancouver, BC service area. The role involves installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems, with travel across the territory and occasional on-call shifts.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a customer-service setting, hands-on repair experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a customer service-related position.
• 2–4 years of hands-on troubleshooting and repair of technical equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clear documentation.
• Ability to work independently and with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Willingness to travel including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Experience with gaming, lottery, telecom, or electromechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, remove, upgrade, and maintain gaming and paytech equipment.
• Test hardware, firmware, and network connections for proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to restore functionality.
• Communicate status and resolutions to customers professionally.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and colleagues.
• Travel within the service territory and participate in on-call rotation.
• Comply with safety and regulatory requirements, including PPE and WHMIS.
