Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician II to serve clients in the Ohio area. You will lead installation teams, configure and program devices, and deliver customer training at a basic operations level.

This role emphasizes leadership, project coordination, and hands-on technical execution on diverse security and IT projects. Ideal candidates bring strong field experience, TCP/IP networking knowledge, and the ability to mentor Level 1 installers while ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a related construction/tech field.
• Hands-on field experience and ability to read drawings.
• Experience leading installers and coordinating service tasks.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and VoIP basics.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Experience with fire, CCTV, intrusion, or nurse call systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Level I installers and oversee installation teams.
• Manage project/service tickets with clear updates and documentation.
• Ensure site readiness, configuration, FAT testing, and commissioning.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with project managers.
• Maintain communication with customers and coordinators for project execution.
• Perform FAT and system commissioning for diverse projects.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and training.
