K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, configure, and commission complex systems in the West Chester, OH area. You will lead installation tasks, mentor Level 1 staff, and coordinate with project teams to ensure top-tier customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advance knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience in prior roles.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Identify and use common low voltage cabling.
• Working knowledge of IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Experience completing projects within scope.
• Experience with service ticketing processes.
• 1+ year knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead Level I installer tasks following documentation.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Understand project scopes and meet service expectations.
• Delegate tasks and foster collaboration within the team.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and collect feedback.
• Communicate with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Pursue leadership and communication training.
• Perform FAT and system configuration and commissioning.
• Accept additional duties as needed.
