K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to support installation and service projects across the United States, including the West Chester, OH area. The role emphasizes leadership, advanced device configuration, system commissioning, and customer training at a basic operations level.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to identify and use common low voltage cabling.
• Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Previous experience completing projects within scope.
• Previous experience with service ticketing processes.
• 1+ year of knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, emergency nurse call systems
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer responsibilities following documentation.
• Lead project/service tickets with strong organization and prompt updates.
• Understand project scopes and service expectations, delivering results.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and foster growth within the team.
• Communicate effectively with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems on diverse projects.
• Pursue leadership and communication skills for team contribution.
• Perform FAT testing and ensure systems meet quality standards.
• Configure systems and Commission installations to deliver reliable solutions.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
