Job summary

K Group Companies in Ohio seeks a Field Service Technician Level II to lead installation teams, configure and program devices, and deliver customer training with a focus on high-quality service. You will handle FAT, system commissioning, and ongoing support across nurse call, access control, and video surveillance projects.

This role requires hands-on field experience, strong communication, and leadership to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advance knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience and project oversight.
• Excellent communication skills and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I responsibilities with enhanced leadership for project tasks.
• Manage tickets and keep updates aligned with assignments.
• Lead and mentor Level 1 installers, promoting growth and productivity.
• Coordinate with Project Delivery Coordinators and customers.
• Perform FAT and system commissioning for reliable operation.
• Configure devices and networks for nurse call, access, and CCTV projects.
