Plug Power Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician to support fuel cells in electric lift trucks at a Walmart site in Ridgeville, SC. The role involves preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution, and on-site service with occasional travel.

Candidates should have 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Tools provided by Plug Power; own tools required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with electrical coursework.
• Three+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation preferred.
• Proficient computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain fleet at location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for service as needed.
• Report and communicate fuel cell performance to regional teams.
• Complete service logs and site documentation.
• Exhibit safety procedures in the field.
