Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Field Service Technician-Network to install, troubleshoot, and maintain telecom equipment across customer sites, including fiber and copper facilities. You will work with outside plant, test equipment, and field systems while delivering exceptional service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to travel or be on-call, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year technical telecommunications experience or military service.
• 6+ months of basic fiber optic and/or copper splice and repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel and be on-call.
• Must meet TDS attendance guidelines.
• Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Background check and safety training as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, test, splice, repair, and maintain telecom equipment and facilities.
• Provide high-level support and educate customers on TDS products and services.
• Manage installation projects and coordinate with supervisor.
