Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Chicago, IL market. In this field-based role, you will install, repair, and maintain warewashing, laundry, and dispensing equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards while supporting customer programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed
• Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience
