Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician for the San Francisco, CA market. This field-based role delivers reliable service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across Institutional programs, partnering with sales and service teams to uphold brand standards and enhance the customer experience.

You will support customers across facilities, build expertise in warewashing, laundry, and dispensing equipment, and manage parts and inventory while following safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions during visits and ensure adherence to Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maximize first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab’s value to customers and strengthen relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness and delivery.
