Job summary

Ecolab in Chicago, IL is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Institutional team. This field-based role delivers service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution for warewashing, laundry, and dispensing equipment across customer sites.

You will travel within the Chicago market, maintain equipment, complete work orders, and uphold Ecolab Brand Standards while partnering with sales and service teams to improve customer outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• No immigration sponsorship available.
• Availability to work overnight shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests and planned or unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions and help customers meet brand standards.
• Manage equipment, parts and inventory for a fully stocked vehicle and first-time fix performance.
• Document all work accurately and timely.
