Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the Southeast Area to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, as well as related components. You will diagnose issues with precision tools and coordinate parts with the Service Coordinator to ensure timely field work.

You will also train apprentices, support field technicians, and communicate clearly with customers while following safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating compressors.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to order parts and complete installations.
• Train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment.
