Job summary

ICEE in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Service Technician to service frozen beverage equipment, dispensers, ice makers, and related devices. You will respond to dispatched calls, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose and repair issues with minimal supervision.

The role includes driving a company vehicle, attending weekly meetings, and maintaining inventory. You will also document work, communicate with customers and teammates, and perform warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background and aptitude.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly; occasional lifting >70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls with prompt ETA and response.
• Performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Maintains inventory and company vehicle equipment/tools.
• Reviews service orders with supervisor; notes customer needs.
• Documents work performed and closes out activities.
• Communicates clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Performs general warehouse duties and other duties as assigned.
