Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a Team Leader, Field Service (Electrical & Automation) in the US to lead and develop the North Region Field Service Team. You will drive electrical competency development and ensure optimum staffing to support troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance and modernization across power generation installations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership experience, strong knowledge of Field Service processes in power generation, and familiarity with automation, PLCs, HMI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar qualifications.
• Certifications in power generation, switchgear, protection, controls, or electrical commissioning are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Field Service Team in the North Region according to strategy and business needs.
• Develop electrical competencies within the team for troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance and modernization.
• Ensure optimal utilization of the team with right people in the right place at the right time.
• Foster relationships with learning institutes to attract and develop talent.
• Manage internal and external relationships to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Lifecycle Support, Agreements and Technical Service across the delivery chain.
• Contribute to annual budget and service forecasts.
• Set performance and development targets for your team.
