Job summary

Clean Harbors in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion.

Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state.

Qualifications

• Environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry experience
• Ability to travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month
• Ability to be on-call for emergency response situations
• Valid Driver’s license
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew
• Ensure equipment operation and on-site safety standards are met
• Read work orders and verify equipment availability and readiness
• Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes
• Prepare and submit required paperwork and service receipts
• Lead safety meetings and enforce HPC safety policies
