Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cloquet, MN is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This role ensures equipment operates properly, drives site efficiency and completes documentation in a timely manner.

Initially a traveling position as the region builds its book of business, new hires attend a two-week Academy out of state. Training is paid by the company and expenses are covered, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Environmental field service operations experience
• Ability to travel overnight up to 2–4 nights per month
• Ability to be on-call for emergency response situations
• Ability to pull a trailer via pickup truck (preferred)
• Interface with clients and management
• Manage vendors and project documentation
• Work in confined spaces
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical requirements per job
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety and enforce safe work practices
• Confirm equipment readiness before starting jobs
• Inspect equipment and work area prior to jobs
• Correct deficiencies affecting safety or client requirements
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
• Complete service paperwork and submit to management
• Train Technicians I & II on equipment operation
• Operate equipment per safety procedures
• Lead safety meetings and ensure HPC policies are followed
• Meet deadlines and optimize resource use
• Instruct and direct crew to complete client requirements and company policies
• Enforce company policies and address violations
• Follow all regulatory requirements and safely operate company vehicles
• Handle site remediation and hazardous materials as required
