Job summary

Clean Harbors in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This role ensures proper operation of equipment, drives efficiencies at the work site and guarantees timely documentation of job activities.

Note this position requires new hires to attend a two-week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company and the training is paid.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental field service, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 2–4 nights per month.
• On-call for emergency response situations.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pull a trailer with a pickup truck is preferred.
• Ability to manage and review all job-related documentation.
• Work in confined spaces when required.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily service-line crew operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Read work orders, verify equipment availability and operability before jobs.
• Inspect equipment and work areas; address deficiencies promptly.
• Complete service paperwork and submit to management.
• Train Technicians I and II on equipment operation and processes.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and operate service-line equipment.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce HPC safety policies.
• Meet deadlines and optimize resource use for client projects.
• On-call for emergency response on a rotating schedule.
