Job summary

Electric Motor Repair in Beltsville, MD, is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead service technicians in the field, coach teams, and oversee large jobs and quotes while ensuring safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction across the branch. You will provide hands-on technical support, identify training needs, and partner with management to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational, administrative, and computer skills; teamwork orientation.
• Proven ability to train, coach, mentor, and support employees in field service.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with related industry experience.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced field environment.
• Must meet all Grade 3 Service Technician requirements.
• Knowledge of specialized tools used within the trade.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, coach, and oversee Service Technicians in the field; provide direction and support.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to technicians to improve workmanship and performance.
• Oversee large jobs and quotes; ensure proper scoping and completion to customer expectations.
• Provide hands-on technical support to technicians in the field for difficult repairs.
• Monitor quality of technician work and customer service; take corrective action as needed.
• Identify training needs and provide feedback to Management on improvements.
• Assist Management in evaluating technician performance and development.
