Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Field Service Supervisor in Georgia to lead our team of field service technicians and ensure high-quality preventative maintenance for Caterpillar equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will own the area’s financial performance and drive efficient service delivery. Ideal candidates bring strong supervisory experience, mechanical aptitude, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry experience
• Prior supervisory experience
• Strong problem solving skills to meet customer and employee needs
• Excellent people skills with customer service experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in required safety programs and ensure employees complete safety training
• Oversee daily operations, review profit and loss, staffing, training, equipment utilization and safety
• Support and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures and ensure policies are followed
• Develop and motivate staff; conduct annual evaluations and create development plans
• Plan systems to control expenses and improve efficiency
• Assist customers in resolving parts and service complaints
• Ensure safety audits and regulatory compliance for OSHA, MSHA, EPA and DOT
• Manage attendance, schedule coverage, and maintain records
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure CVA PM accuracy
• Supervise daily workflow and resource allocation
• Contribute to long-term scheduling and route optimization for technicians
• Oversee accounts receivable collection and monthly reporting
• Coordinate safety, financials and company updates in monthly meetings
• Additional duties as assigned by management
• Maintain current product knowledge and warranty guidelines
• Oversee/assist in maintaining service levels
