Job summary

National Equipment and Service (NES) is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead field operations, ensuring safety and quality while developing technicians and engaging customers. You will manage large projects, coordinate resources, and drive training programs across field teams.

The role requires hands‑on oversight, strong problem‑solving, and a commitment to safety standards in a dynamic industrial setting. Travel to Irvine HQ and customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors, loading dock equipment, and material handling systems.
• Proficient with FSM systems managing field operations (estimates, work orders, dispatching, scheduling).
• Leadership experience supervising field service teams on large projects.
• Strong troubleshooting in safety‑focused, compliant environments.
• Experience designing and delivering field training programs for technicians.

Responsibilities

• In-Field Oversight: perform site visits to ensure quality, safety, and policy compliance.
• Safety: conduct site and vehicle safety checks to maintain a safe work environment.
• Technical support: serve as escalation point for complex issues and guide field technicians.
• Project management: coordinate resources, schedules, and logistics for large projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Training: design and run field training programs emphasizing safety and customer satisfaction.
• Lead recall activities with hands‑on coaching to prevent recurrence.
• Develop Team Leads and support career growth and safety culture.
• Gather feedback from employees to improve training and field experience.
• Customer engagement: educate customers on products, services, and safety practices.
