Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead a team of 5–10 technicians, oversee safety, performance, and project execution on customer jobs. This working supervisor role combines frontline field work with staff development and coordination with the Field Service Manager.

You will mentor technicians, ensure safety training, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining budget and scope compliance. Domestic travel 40%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a NETA 2, 3, or 4.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
• Must be computer proficient using email, data entry, and basic Microsoft Office
• 2+ years of training, education and experience in the related work supervised.
• Current on safety training.
• Prior supervisory or management experience a plus, but not required.
• Must have a satisfactory MVR report, Background Check and Drug Test results.
• Must be available for regular overnight domestic travel and occasional international travel.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and periodic weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Must be in good standing with Shermco with a satisfactory performance record
• Must be willing to travel; minimum 40%.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of 5–10 Field Service Technicians.
• Lead customer jobs according to scope and budget; ensure tools and equipment are available.
• Promote safety and enforce EHS policies and procedures.
• Conduct technical skills assessments and develop training plans.
• Provide performance feedback and mentor technicians.
• Coordinate timely change orders and customer communications.
• Lead by example and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure accurate data reporting and compliance with SOPs.
