Job summary

Deutsche Post is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to coordinate 2nd shift operations for air and ground movements, including international import/export. You’ll lead a team of 8–12, ensure safety and compliance, and partner with customs to streamline processing.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA and at least 2 years supervisory experience, with strong Excel and MS Outlook skills. A valid driver’s license and a proactive, customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related field and at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of regulations and safe handling of goods, including Dangerous Goods
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with ability to lead a team

Responsibilities

• Explain and enforce company policies while driving daily operational goals
• Supervise airport ramp operations and loading/unloading cargo in compliance
• Oversee international import/export shipments and back-office coordination
• Monitor flights, communicate network updates, and implement contingencies
• Collaborate with US Customs and DHL Imports clearance to ensure proper processing
• Develop relationships with business partners and manage key projects
• Track KPIs and cost levels; assist with budget planning and approvals
• Provide staff training, guidance, and performance feedback
