Position Overview

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily operations of the service line crew. Responsibilities include ensuring proper equipment operation, improving operational efficiencies, and completing timely documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure health and safety compliance and act safely at all times.
  2. Read work orders, verify equipment availability and functionality.
  3. Inspect equipment and work areas prior to jobs.
  4. Address deficiencies to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
  5. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  6. Complete and submit all required paperwork.
  7. Train technicians in equipment operation and processes.
  8. Operate equipment safely according to training and safety procedures.
  9. Use appropriate techniques for industrial services, including manual work.
  10. Perform equipment cleaning, repairs, and installation tasks.
  11. Understand and perform equipment maintenance using safety gear.
  12. Maintain cleanliness in work areas.
  13. Lead safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
  14. Meet project deadlines efficiently.
  15. Supervise and instruct crew members, providing feedback.
  16. Enforce company policies and manage employee conduct.
  17. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  18. Operate vehicles safely per DOT and other requirements.
  19. Follow company environmental and safety guidelines.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.
  21. Be on call for emergencies on a rotating basis.
  22. Handle site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials.
  23. Possess industry experience in environmental services, construction, or manufacturing.
  24. Travel overnight up to 2-4 nights/month.
  25. Manage project vendors and documentation.
  26. Work in confined spaces as required.
  27. Hold a valid driver’s license.
  28. Perform physical functions as needed.
  29. Complete background checks, drug tests, and physicals as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in emergency response, Hazmat cleanup, confined space entry.
  • Supervisory experience in confined spaces.
