Job summary

Weatherford seeks an experienced Field Specialist II for the Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Team in Dickinson, North Dakota. This role installs, maintains, and repairs artificial lift equipment at customer well sites, with travel to ensure uptime and safety.

You will troubleshoot, document, and provide field support under limited supervision, while adhering to HSE policies and delivering high-quality service in varying weather and field conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is preferred.
• 1-2 ½ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Corod
• Previous oilfield service or mechanical field experience, preferably with artificial lift systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, and travel to remote locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, maintain, and repair artificial lift systems and associated equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Complete field service reports, maintenance records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding equipment status and operational needs.
• Assist with equipment loading, unloading, inventory control, and shop activities as required.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to customer service requests outside normal working hours when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
