Job summary

Weatherford seeks an experienced Field Specialist II for the ALS Team in Williston, North Dakota. You will install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair artificial lift equipment at customer sites, with regular travel and adherence to safety standards.

You will provide technical field support under limited supervision, document activities, and assist with shop and inventory tasks while working in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is preferred.
• 1–2½ years in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Corod.
• Experience in oilfield service or mechanical field work, preferably with artificial lift.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, and travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Complete field service reports, maintenance records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team regarding equipment status and needs.
• Assist with equipment loading, unloading, and inventory control as required.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to service requests outside normal hours.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain high workmanship standards.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• 1 - 2 ½ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Corod
• Previous oilfield service or mechanical field experience, preferably with artificial lift systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work for extended periods in outdoor environments.
• Comfortable working at heights and around heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and dust.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
