Job summary

Atlas Copco in Houston, TX seeks a Field Service Engineer to support pump maintenance, repair, and startup activities. You will work with API 610 pumps, disassemble and inspect components, and ensure safety and quality on customer sites.

You will travel to customer locations, including offshore and international training, to diagnose issues and optimize pump performance while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial pump service and repair experience or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, and rebuild API 610 pumps using inspection tools and testing equipment.
• Install pumps on base plates and assemble motors, manifolds, and tubing.
• Prepare repair and field service reports with pump and customer data.
• Verify pump performance via shop run tests and record results.
• Maintain inventory levels and document part usage.
• Travel to customer sites including offshore and overseas as needed.
