Job summary

Halliburton seeks an experienced Service Technician to repair variable speed drives and troubleshoot downhole and surface equipment at client sites. You will analyze well performance, assist in design improvements, and train others while maintaining service reports.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and performance in challenging environments. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a journeyman electrical certificate, and 5–7 years of electronics troubleshooting experience for

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Journeyman electrical certificate required.
5-7 years of experience troubleshooting electronics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, repair variable speed drives and troubleshoot downhole at client sites.
Conduct well analysis and troubleshoot surface and downhole equipment.
Suggest design improvements to maximize VSD performance and life.
Repair VSDs, surface sensor equipment and communications gear.
Train other technicians in drive setup and minor repairs.
Maintain all required paperwork on service reports and tickets.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
Promote quality improvement processes.
Assist in supervising others and provide basic training.
