Job summary

HMH is seeking a Lead Service Engineer in Odessa, TX to install, operate, and maintain proprietary automated drilling systems on onshore/offshore rigs. You will troubleshoot field issues, train customers, and ensure adherence to HSE standards while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on equipment experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2.5+ years in technical/field services.
• HSSE commitment and safety focus.
• Previous Field Service Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair equipment by traveling to customer sites.
• Provide troubleshooting and install equipment as needed.
• Coordinate service activities with clients to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain service truck readiness and inventory for field work.
• Ensure safety procedures, PTW, and JSA are followed on site.
• Attend safety meetings and document outcomes.
