Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Solution Engineer to join the growing Field Service team in the US. You will integrate hardware and software for Electrical Power Monitoring and set up Sm@rtGear devices, enabling remote monitoring and control for customers.

The role requires implementing energy management solutions, adhering to safety and project documentation standards, and proactive problem-solving in a hands-on field environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Computer Engineering or 4 years of field service power distribution engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Must possess the ability to travel 80% across the US.
• Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Implements hardware and software for energy management/monitoring solutions and Sm@rtGear
• Understands and applies safety procedures.
• Follows basic standard project documentation for project completion.
• Identifies problems as they occur and takes proactive steps to solve them.
• Independently performs basic tasks and functions for professional field work.
• Prepare explanations to enable proper interpretation/evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics, or other technical data.
