Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site to serve as the main contact for customers and ensure total satisfaction.

The role involves taking an active role in selling goods, fulfilling orders, and coordinating service requests from entry to delivery in a dynamic warehouse environment. The position requires physical ability to handle materials up to 70 pounds, operating warehouse equipment, and meeting driving requirements if needed.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience required.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials (standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting up to 70 pounds).
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts) safely and per rules.
• Work in a warehouse environment with seasonal changes and temperature variations.
• Follow safety instructions and PPE requirements.
• Meet driving requirements if operating a company vehicle is needed.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of product lines and supplier evaluation for customer needs.
• Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Take an active role in selling Company goods and services.
• Fill customer merchandise requirements, including the counter, using knowledge of products sold.
• Suggest selections that meet customer needs.
• Coordinate prompt handling of customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance.
• Perform all shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties.
• Evaluate inventory requirements and maintain balance of merchandise.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed.
• Operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered to meet expectations.
• Update knowledge of products through self-study and training classes.
• Assist in orientation of new or less experienced representatives.
