Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site in Fort Worth, TX. You will serve as a key contact for customers, handling orders, pricing, billing and delivery coordination while supporting inventory and warehouse operations.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years in customer service or sales, with 4+ years preferred, and a 4-year degree is preferred. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of customer service or sales experience.
• 4+ years preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements in a warehouse.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) when needed.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet driving requirements if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling Company goods and services; fill customer merchandise requirements, including the counter, using knowledge of products sold; suggest selections that meet customer needs; act as a resource for new or less experienced representatives.
• Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests including but not limited to order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance
• Perform all shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties; evaluate inventory requirements/levels, and take steps to maintain correct balance of merchandise
• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customer orders are delivered to meet customer expectations
• Update knowledge of products through self-study and attending product training classes
• Train new or less experienced representatives
• Assist in developing the orientation program for new employees
