Century Business Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service & Networking Technician to provide expert service, installation, startup, repair and maintenance of Century hardware and software solutions.

You will work directly with customers at their locations, delivering technical expertise and professional service. This role emphasizes independent work with minimal on-site supervision, strong communication, and the ability to manage time and priorities while building lasting relationships with

Qualifications

• Able to lift 75lbs, stand, stoop, crouch for prolonged periods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as this role has no physical location to report to; will report to a manager based out of the Sioux Falls corporate office.
• Prior experience in the service technician field preferred, supporting the ability to work independently with no direct on-site supervision in the Sioux City area.
• Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate technical concepts.
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Strong time & project management skills.
• Detail orientated.

Responsibilities

• Will perform a variety of technical field service related duties involving new product installations including equipment start up, functional testing, and customer training.
• Test, calibrate verify system and peripheral devices.
• Serve as a professional company representative providing exceptional customer service while at customer locations or while in any service support role.
• Diagnose and perform repairs in a time effective manner.
• Promote, build and maintain good customer relations.
• Responsible for documentation of machine data, service history and quality information.
• Demonstrate products as necessary in support of sales.
• Communicate with managers to insure customer expectations are met and important information is passed on to the proper parties.
