Job summary

MES Life Safety in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead our regional field service team serving first responders. You will develop people, improve operations, and strengthen customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.

You will hire, coach, schedule, monitor KPIs, and travel regionally to support technicians and customers, partnering with Sales to ensure a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service leadership experience.
• Background in fire service equipment or related industries.
• Valid driver’s license (REAL-ID required for federal facilities access).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience leading field service or technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of field service technicians.
• Oversee scheduling and daily service operations.
• Build relationships with fire departments and municipal customers.
• Partner with Sales to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Travel regionally to support technicians and customers.
• Monitor KPIs, improve operational performance, and drive results.
• Take ownership of customer issues until resolved.
• Foster accountability, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
