Canteen seeks a hands-on and experienced Service Support Manager to lead a team of technicians. This role is responsible for ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced, and operating at peak performance while delivering exceptional customer experience.

You will manage schedules, support field operations, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery across the site in Exton, PA. The role offers growth, competitive pay, annual bonus opportunities, and a company car.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service or operations management experience (coffee, vending, or foodservice equipment preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of coffee brewing systems, espresso machines, vending equipment, or similar systems.
• Proven leadership experience managing technicians or field service teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Field Operations
• Oversee a team of service technicians supporting coffee brewers, espresso machines, vending machines, and micro market equipment
• Manage technician schedules, routes, and workload to ensure timely service and maximum efficiency
• Provide hands-on support in the field, including service calls, installations, and troubleshooting
• Service Execution & Customer Experience
• Oversee all service calls, ensuring rapid response and high-quality resolution for customers
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to coffee equipment, vending machines, and self-service markets
• Ensure all service tickets, maintenance logs, and work orders are completed accurately and on time
• Equipment & Inventory Management
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of coffee, vending, and micro market equipment
• Ensure all equipment is operational, properly calibrated, and compliant with company standards
• Manage parts inventory, including ordering, tracking, and ensuring availability for scheduled and emergency repairs
• Workflow & Operational Efficiency
• Maintain an organized and fully operational shop and service environment
• Ensure all jobs are prepped with necessary parts and tools prior to dispatch
• Verify installation teams complete required checklists and are fully prepared before leaving the facility
• Preventative Maintenance & Quality Control
• Ensure preventative maintenance programs are executed consistently across all equipment types
• Monitor performance trends to reduce service disruptions and extend equipment lifespan
• Enforce quality, safety, and sanitation standards across all service activities
• Communication & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, route drivers, and customer service teams to resolve issues and improve performance
• Provide regular reporting on service metrics, equipment trends, and team performance
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
