Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Machine Technician in Joliet, IL to install, configure and maintain equipment on customer sites. The role earns $37–$40 per hour and schedules Friday–Sunday 6am–6pm; on-site work with travel to customer facilities.

You will troubleshoot issues from drawings, perform start-up tests, and deliver on-site training while building strong customer relationships. A technical background with hands-on mechanical skills, basic Windows and office software, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational training or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
• Experience using Windows platforms and basic office software is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and documentation.
• Perform start-up testing and deliver customer training.
• Provide routine maintenance and emergency service as needed.
• Communicate clearly with Packsize and customer personnel.
