Zusammenfassung

Wabtec recruits a Field Service Lead - Technical Support Specialist to supervise field service technicians across the Greater NYC transit projects. You will manage warranty activities, coordinate with transit authorities and car builders, and drive reliability improvements through data analysis and proactive service.

You will lead training, enforce safety standards, and report on field operations weekly, while traveling to sites as required.

Qualifikationen

• Proven supervisory or technical leadership experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of rail industry products is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the U.S.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Supervise field service technicians and manage warranty/aftermarket activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transit authorities and car builders.
• Assist troubleshooting, debugging, and reliability improvements in the field.
• Prepare weekly safety, manpower, warranty, and retrofit reports.
• Lead training and performance development for field staff.
• Ensure safety compliance and PPE adherence on sites.
• Coordinate field testing and feedback to engineering teams.
• Travel within Greater NYC and occasional US trips as needed.
