Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Lead to oversee a team of field service technicians and engineers across multiple customer sites, performing start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IEM products. You will provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites and training facilities, mentor technicians, report risks to management, and coordinate with project teams to close out

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in power distribution and commissioning.
• Minimum of 2 years field service experience with start-up and commissioning.
• Experience with switchgear and electrical distribution systems preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning across multiple customer sites, ensuring on time completion.
• Provide supervision and training to field technicians.
• Serve as technical lead for troubleshooting and product expertise.
• Travel to manufacturing or field service facilities for training, tests, and shop activities.
• Identify risks and report to management for action.
• Coordinate with commercial and administration teams for requests outside of startup scope.
• Ensure technicians have tools, materials, and documentation to perform work.
