Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is a leading Industrial Maintenance provider helping factories run more reliably in the US, Mexico and the UK. We are seeking skilled technicians to perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnose complex control systems, and guide optimization efforts with customers.

The role requires high technical proficiency with electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, PLCs, and field service.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
Associates degree with a Technical focus and 12 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 15 years of experience in specific industry.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools, and programming software as appropriate.
Experience in condition based maintenance, precision mechanical alignments, maintenance of process equipment, and automation integration.
Robust experience in PLCs, field device troubleshooting, electrical drives and motion control devices.

Responsibilities

Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items; evaluates alternatives for cost/reliability.
Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization and reliability efforts.
Alters, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve software/hardware problems.
Documents work in service reports and manuals; assists with training and development.
