Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a Field Service Industrial Maintenance Specialist to support manufacturing facilities nationwide. The role centers on expert break-fix, preventative maintenance, and complex control-system troubleshooting.

Travel is extensive to local and national sites. Candidates should have strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC experience, with the ability to train others and document outcomes in service reports.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associates degree with technical focus preferred or 15 years industry experience.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Proficient with basic hand tools and specialized tools, and programming software as appropriate.
Extensive travel (local, national, international) expected.

Responsibilities

Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
Identify root causes by observing devices in operation.
Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.
Test devices and systems to ensure proper performance.
Document work in service reports and maintenance manuals.
Lead training and provide guidance to junior technicians.
