Job summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking an Applications Engineer to analyze large-scale metrology data and drive customer adoption of ASML solutions for Samsung. You will translate on-product issues into actionable improvements, and collaborate with customers to optimize tool setup, process control strategies, and metrology choices.

The role offers growth into technical experts or project/leadership tracks, with travel up to 10% and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role.
Minimum 4 years experience within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
Minimum 3 years experience with utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software.
Minimum 5 years experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings
Extensive experience with stakeholder and change management.

Responsibilities

Participate and/or lead projects supporting transitions to a new technology node or ramp up a specific technology node.
Define and drive customer requirements for existing or evaluation products.
Translate a customer on-product issue into a lithography or metrology-related problem statement and resolve it to maximize performance.
Identify ASML applications product opportunities for our customer.
Conduct data analysis to ensure correct conclusions from customer data and results.
