Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, commission, and service UPS, power distribution units, and related products. You will build strong customer relationships, work with sales and support teams, and ensure service quality across small to large systems.

The role requires on-site work, strong technical background, travel, and adherence to safety protocols. Vertiv emphasizes training, career development, and a balanced work/life culture.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Interpersonal and Administrative Skills: professional communication, time management, collaboration.
• Technical skills include basic site evaluation, electrical/electronic test equipment, following technical documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Capable of working under supervision or independently after training.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Maintain safety practices and proper PPE.
