Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Customer Engineer to install, commission, and service UPS, power distribution units and battery systems at customer sites across the Tampa area. This role requires travel, on-call duties, and the ability to work with minimal supervision after training.

You will provide on-site and phone support, document service activities, collaborate with technical support, and uphold safety standards while delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures.
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training completion.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Maintain safety and on-site operational standards.
