Siemens AG in Ohio is seeking a Field Service Engineer to commission, test, and troubleshoot low- to medium-voltage power distribution equipment across diverse industrial environments. This field-based role requires extensive travel across the U.S. and hands-on problem solving.

You will work with relays (SEL, GE Multilin, SIPROTEC), test sets, and configuration software, delivering commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support while ensuring safe, reliable system performance for customers.

Qualificações

• Field-based commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution systems.
• Protection and control relays (SEL, GE Multilin, Siemens SIPROTEC) and associated configuration software.
• Relay testing equipment such as Omicron and/or Doble test sets.
• Low- and medium-voltage switchgear, breakers, and electrical control circuits.
• Interpreting test data, assessing equipment condition, and producing clear documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 80% domestically.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Installing, testing, commissioning, and starting up low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment (approximately 480V–38kV).
• Performing hands-on commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of protection and control relays (e.g., SEL, GE Multilin, Siemens SIPROTEC).
• Using industry-standard test equipment and software to validate system performance.
• Supporting greenfield and brownfield projects through commissioning, maintenance, emergency response, and corrective troubleshooting.
• Analyzing test results, assessing equipment condition, and documenting findings through field reports.
• Working directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to provide technical support, training, and consulting as needed.
• Traveling extensively to job sites across the U.S. to support field execution and project demands.
