Siemens in Portland, OR seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment at customer sites across North America.

You will develop test plans for protection and control relay systems, perform hands-on commissioning, and support multiple manufacturers. This role requires up to 80% travel and deep experience in industrial and utility environments.

Qualifications

Experience with low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
Protection and control relay commissioning and troubleshooting.
Proficient with relay testing equipment such as Omicron, Doble, DIGSI.
Electrical safety practices and procedures.
Field-based commissioning in industrial or utility environments.

Responsibilities

Install, test, commission, and start up MV/LV equipment at customer sites.
Develop and execute test plans for protection and control relay systems.
Perform field commissioning and troubleshooting using relay testers.
Support protection systems from multiple manufacturers including Siemens SIPROTEC, SEL, GE Multilin.
Document results and provide technical reports.
