Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a Phoenix-based role. You will commission, test, and troubleshoot power distribution and protection systems across diverse industrial environments, with up to 80% domestic travel.

The position requires 4+ years in field service, experience with protection relays (SEL, GE Multilin, SIPROTEC), and proficiency with Omicron/Doble test equipment. This role supports Siemens’ Electrification Automation business nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of field-based commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with protection and control relays (SEL, GE Multilin, Siemens SIPROTEC) and related software.
• Proficiency using relay testing equipment such as Omicron and Doble test sets.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and start up low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment (approx. 480V–38kV).
• Perform hands-on commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of protection and control relays.
• Travel extensively to job sites across the U.S. to support field execution and project demands.
