Job summary
AMETEK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the United States, primarily from a Central or Western base. After completing training, you will install, calibrate, and maintain equipment at customer sites, and provide on-site and remote service support with strong documentation and customer communication.
The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent field experience, 3+ years in electronics/software, a valid US passport/green card, and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Degree in electronic, or multi-disciplinary engineering; or have previous field service experience.
- 3+ years of field service experience (electronics & software)
- Must hold valid US Passport or Green Card
- Must have experience traveling for work
- Permanent residents and U.S. Citizens only
- Based out of Central or Western United States with a home office near a major airport
- Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and decision making
Responsibilities
- Installation and training at customer premises
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment
- Service repair and after-sales support
- Remote troubleshooting and diagnostic support
- Quoting services to customers
