Job summary

HORIBA Instruments North America is seeking a Field Service Representative to support the California Territory. Install, repair and maintain HORIBA products at customer sites and perform in-house repairs as needed.

The role requires extensive travel, driving, and a passport. Candidates should have strong electronics repair skills, experience with PLCs, DAS, and process analyzers, plus the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of electronics repair and component-level troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
• Experience with electronic test equipment and process analyzers (NDIR, FID, Chemiluminescent).
• Experience with PLCs and DAS is required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains HORIBA products at customer sites; performs in-house repairs of defective equipment.
• Maintains in-house repair facilities, including calibration and test equipment maintenance.
• Provides technical assistance to customers and HORIBA departments; researches parts and quotations.
• Prepare Field Service Reports with detail for invoicing and warranty charges.
