Job summary

HORIBA Instruments Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative to support the California Territory. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining HORIBA products at customer sites, and performing in-house repairs as needed.

You will travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, and must possess a valid driver's license and passport. The position offers a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires in-depth knowledge of electronics repair and component-level troubleshooting.
• Ability to work beyond a normal workday as needed.
• Must travel extensively domestically and internationally.
• Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license; passport required.
• Broad knowledge of process analyzers (NDIR, FID, Chemiluminescent) and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains HORIBA products at customer sites; performs in-house repairs of defective equipment.
• Maintains in-house repair facilities and calibration of toxic gas monitoring systems.
• Provides technical assistance to customers and HORIBA departments, including quotes research.
• Prepare Field Service Reports with detailed invoicing information.
