Job summary

Kinara Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Massachusetts to provide hands-on support for TEM and SEM systems at customer sites. Qualifications

• Experience with field service on electron microscopes (TEM/SEM) or equivalent high-vacuum analytical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electronics, mechanics, vacuum, and software.
• Degree in physics, electrical/electronic engineering, materials science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Confident and professional with customers across diverse labs and facilities.
• Based in Massachusetts with willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain TEM and SEM systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electro-mechanical, vacuum, electron optics and software faults.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, upgrades and performance verification to specification.
• Build relationships with lab managers, facility directors and researchers as trusted technical partner.
• Coordinate with applications, product specialists and remote support to resolve escalations.
